Best Times to Visit: The best time to visit Jordan is during the spring (March – May) and autumn (September to November) months as these times of the year the temperatures are cool enough to spend your days exploring Jordan’s iconic sites.
Things to do:
Explore Petra. This sight will literally take your breath away and definitely lives up to the hype. After walking through a narrow gorge of the Siq, step into Treasury Square is like stepping back in time as Petra used to be a important part of the Silk Road.
Float in the Dead Sea. This is a true must do while in Jordan. The salt in this body of water is so dense that you can float the day away and soak in all of the healing qualities. The minerals of the dead sea have healing qualities and many people book retreats to help with ailments. If you rub mud all over your skin, it will be as smooth as a baby’s bottom. Book a hotel on the sea to enjoy the sea whenever you want!
Take a camel ride through Wadi Rum. This is a beautiful desert valley filled with narrow valleys, stone arches, and incredible rock cliffs. Take a jeep tour or live out your desert fantasies by booking a camel ride to take in the scenery the way it’s meant to be seen.
For our adventure junkies, spend the day canyoning. Once you are sweaty, cool off in the waters of Wadi Mujib. This is the best way to escape the heat and get your adrenaline pumping!
