Review Our Process
You’ll be sent a link to schedule a time for us to discuss your trip’s “must-haves.” We promise it won’t take long! We’ll get to know you, your travel style, and share how we work so that you can select the service level that best fits your needs.

Based on our conversation, we will work with our partners to compile a quote that we believe encompasses what you are looking for. We will explain why we’ve selected certain properties and paint the picture of what your itinerary could look like.

we propose
Once you’ve fallen in love with the trip that we have created, we will send you an invoice to secure the trip, and our client agreement. Deposits/amounts are contingent on vendor partnerships. We can work with you on a payment schedule, and pay towards your trip up until the final due date.

lock it up!
Based on your selected level of service, we may include tour bookings, restaurant reservations, spa appointments, and additional self-guided tips. We put emphasis on local and cultural activities within all of our itineraries. Around one month prior to travel, you will receive your travel documents and wrap-up email.

We are here to save you time, money, and unnecessary headaches by using our travel knowledge and partnerships to create the dream vacation you deserve!

We are happy to create a fully customized itinerary for our clients who book travel and/or accommodations through us! This allow us to focus more on your dream trip and provide the best customer service possible.
What if I want Explorateur Travel to provide a full itinerary for each day of my trip?

The initial custom itinerary concept begins around three months prior to departure. We can only plan as far in advance as our vendors will allow, so there may be some fluctuation in the planning once availability is released. Once we review the itinerary with you, we will send an email requesting your approval in writing for all items that require pre-booking. We will handle all of this and upload ticket and details into your itinerary link.
Please be aware that this process is collaborative and all details are finalized within the month leading up to your trip. Travel includes a lot of details, and we want to work to make it just how you want it!
How long does it take to receive my travel plans from Explorateur Travel?

Accommodations and flights can be held with a deposit, unless your departure date is within close proximity. This time frame is determined by the vendors.
All custom itinerary creation is paid in advance, and can be added on to any accommodations package. You will be invoiced for the planning, and we start putting together the details of your dream getaway around three months prior to departure.
Do I pay upfront?

We can reserve restaurant reservations and full itinerary creation for clients booking accommodations through Explorateur Travel. While we wish we could secure every dining desire, we never can guarantee availability. What we can do, is guarantee that we will do our best to find the best options for each client!
Do you do restaurant reservations?

Absolutely! We specialize in finding the best flights that work for your schedule at the best possible price. We do require that all flight bookings are in conjunction of three nights of accommodations through our preferred vendors.

Is each itinerary truly customized?

Due to obstacles in dealing directly with vendors when we aren't the ones who created a booking, we do require that accommodations be reserved through us. This allows for a better experience all around!
If I have my flights and hotels, can I still work with you to create an itinerary?
