This adult only resort can be the perfect setting for many types of occasions. Luxury honeymooners, bachelorette parties, golf Groups, and destination weddings would all truly enjoy this beautiful property. There is no shortage of unique actives, quiet escapes, and beautiful views.
WHAT WE LOVED:
Playa Mujeres lies within a gated community in Mexico which felt extremely safe. The beach set up was amazing and definitely a hi-light of this resort. They have palapas, cabanas, day beds, hammocks – so many options! The beach service was excellent. Their staff was extremely gracious and food and drinks were constantly flowing! The poolside tacos and mojitos were our favorite!
The room categories offered at Atelier are endless. Ranging from their entry level ocean view rooms, all the way to their club level, super-spacious Master Suites, there is truly an option for everyone.
THINGS TO DO:
While on property, there are tons of unique experiences you can plan for. The small group tequila tasting was both educational and fun! A trip to Atelier Playa Mujeres is not complete without a day excursion to Isla Mujeres! A quick 20 minute boat ride from the resorts beach will have you in some of the most beautiful blue water we’ve ever seen! Once on Isla Mujeres, the options are endless. Our recommendation would be to rent a golf cart and explore the island at your leisure! On Isla Mujeres you can visit their most popular beaches (Playa Norte was our favorite), explore Mayan Temples, visit local breweries, and shop the local vendors.
The weekend spent at Atelier was the perfect blend of rest, relaxation, and a little bit of adventure! We are so thankful for the hospitality and will certainly be back!
