Calling all engaged couples who are getting married in 2022! We hear that it’s going to be a banner year for celebrations, and we are here for it. 2021 is soon coming to a close and 2022 is on the horizon, which means it is time to start booking your dream honeymoon. Honeymoon planning can be stressful, so we are here to take the reigns and help you along the way. Keep reading to see what we think are the hottest spots for honeymoons in 2022… so book as soon as you can. Space is already becoming limited and pricing will increase as dates appracoh. Greece

If you are looking for romance, beautiful beaches, warm weather, and incredible views then Greece is the spot for you. In Greece, you will have no shortage of sites to see, incredible gastronomy, and beautiful hotels and resorts to choose from. A few of our favorite places to stay are: Kensho Psarou, Parilio, Katikies & Canaves Oia Suites. But let’s be honest…there are far too many beautiful hotels to name here.

The best months to honeymoon in Greece are May, June, September, and early October. In these months, you will avoid not only crowds but also the heat. You will also save money by arriving in a shoulder season!

Italy

Italy is a top honeymoon spot that caters to everyone and we really think you should consider it. Whether you are looking for a dreamy countryside escape, a cultural experience in an ancient city, or a stunning coastal vacation… Italy has it all AND is one of the most romantic cities in Europe. Some of our favorite places to stay are: Casa Angelina, Brunelesschi Hotel, The Place, Querceto Di Castellina, San Montano Resort, Villa Spalletti Trivelli, J.K. Place Capri, and many more!

Depending on what you are looking for, we can recommend some seasons that may satisfy your interests. If you are looking to visit the seaside, we recommend the late spring through late summer. If you are looking for cities, you can’t lose any time of the year!

Mexico

If you are looking for a destination that will tick all of your boxes, Mexico is the place to be. Home to incredible beaches, famed cuisine, and rich history you are sure to find a spot that takes your breath away. Regardless of if you are looking for a big resort or an intimate boutique hotel, your options are limitless. Some of our favorite places to stay are: Unico 2087, Atelier Playa Mujeres, Hotel Esencia, Chable Maroma & Yucatan, Esperanza, and One & Only Mandarina.

The best time to visit Mexico are during the dry season, from December-April. During these months there is very little rainfall, making your changes of getting rained on slim to none. The coolest months, however, are between December and February.

The Maldives

We love the Maldives for its uniqueness, natural beauty, outstanding beaches and the sheer romance in the air. If you are looking for true paradise… look no further! Here you will find soft powder sand beaches, crystal-clear blue waters and lagoons, bright green pal trees, and a sweet tropical breeze. If you are a fan of luxury, this is a great option for you. A few of our favorite places to stay are Four Seasons Maldives (Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru), One & Only Reethi Rah, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, and Baglioni Resort Maldives.

The Maldives is warm and sunny rear-round, however they do have a dry and wet season. If you are looking to avoid the rain, the best time to visit is from November to April.

St. Lucia

If you are looking for a secluded and unique mountain island experience, look no further than St. Lucia. Home to the Piton Mountains with lush rainforests, and beautiful views, St. Lucia is very different than other Caribbean Islands. This spot is perfect for a couple that enjoys intimacy and being on the path less traveled. Some of our favorite places to stay are: Calabash Cove Resort, Cap Maison Resort & Spa, Jade Mountain Resort, Sugar Beach Viceroy, and Ti Kaye Resort and Spa.

The best time to visit St. Lucia is during their high season, from December-April. On these months, you will have the most sunshine and it is also their dry season. If you are looking for a chill experience and lower rates, the best months would be between June-November.

Antigua

If you are in the market for a laid back, yet luxurious honeymoon, then Antigua is the perfect spot for you. This destination houses beautiful turquoise and white sand beaches, the yummiest tropical drinks to satisfy your taste buds, and many all-inclusive resort options. Some of our favorite places to stay are: Galley Bay, Hammock Cove, Hermitage Bay, Jumby Bay, and Curtain Bluff.

We recommend going between December and April. It is important to note that some hotels in the Caribbean close during hurricane months, meaning that hotels may appear to be unavailable during this time.

Turks & Caicos

If you love to travel, but don’t like long flights, then you have to check out Turks & Caicos as your honeymoon destination. This is one of the Caribbean Islands that sits closest to the United States, with only 2 hour flight from Miami to the island. I also want to note that there are many affordable and nonstop flight options for you to choose from, to help you reduce travel time even more. There is no shortage of luxury properties to choose from, and some of our favorite are: Amanyara, Ambergris Cay, Grace Bay Club, COMO Parrot Cay, Seven Stars Resort & Spa, and The Shore Club.

May, June and July are great months to visit for a relaxing beach honeymoon. December, however, is one of the busiest months due to the holiday season. This island is beautiful year round, so you can’t pick a bad time to go.

Croatia

Croatia is one of those destinations that has really boomed as the years have gone on. Home to stunning beaches, a beautiful climate, fun nightlife, incredible gastronomy, vast history, grand yachts, delicious wine, and most importantly… the Game of Thrones. If you don’t mind traveling, and you like island hopping, we really think you should consider Croatia for your upcoming honeymoon. Some of our favorite places to stay are: Hotel Excelsior, Palace Elisabeth, and Cornaro Hotel.

The best time to visit Croatia, is when it is sunny and warm, in the months of June to September. This timeframe is perfect for enjoying the water and exploring the city by boat or foot. If you and your significant other like to party, we highly recommend visiting in the summer for the time of your life.

Hawaii

One of the many luxuries of honeymooning in Hawaii is the selection of islands that you can visit. Inter-island hopping is also very affordable, so if you are looking to explore more than one island, it is very easy to do so. Hawaiian’s love honeymooners and have so many activities and resorts for you to choose from, while still surrounding you with serious romantic vibes. A few of our favorite places to stay are: Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea, Turtle Bay Resort, Andaz Maui, Montage Maui, and the Four Seasons Lanai.

The best time to visit Hawaii is between March and September, when the temperatures are high and the rainfall is low. The shoulder seasons are good as well, however, Hawaii sees honeymooners year-round and it will not disappoint.

Tahiti

Calling all over-water bungalow fans! Tahiti is home to the original overwater bungalow, and has no shortage of selections for you to choose from. Tahiti is a fantasy destination for honeymooners and here is why… the scenery is breathtaking, the crystal-clear waters are stunning, and the abundant rainforests give you the privacy that you need. We love Tahiti for its immaculate climate year round, and for the wide selections of accommodations for any price range. A few of our favorite places to stay are: Le Bora Bora (by Pearl Resorts), Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea, InterContinental Thalasso, and the Conrad Bora Bora Nui.

Although temperatures are pleasant year-round, the best time to visit is between May and October. Winter yields less-rain and balmy temperatures while the Summer can be quite hot.
