Our Recent Stay: White Elephant Palm Beach

Travel Advisor, Amanda Wollam, recently spent time at the 5 star White Elephant Palm Beach Resort. While staying at the resort, Amanda was able to also view their suite options, including the stunning multi-bedroom Palm Suite and Park Suite.

Getting There:

Getting to the White Elephant Palm Beach is a breeze. The hotel stands one street north of Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach’s original Main Street, and less than two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. White Elephant Palm Beach is adjacent to Bradley Park, which has been restored and serves as a grand lawn to the hotel. The location makes it extremely accessible regardless if you are travelling to the hotel by train, plane, or car – White Elephant Palm Beach is less than 15 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), five minutes from the Brightline railway station, and conveniently close to the Flagler Memorial Bridge.

Accommodations:

The historic hotel that dates back to the 1920s is equipped with 13 deluxe hotel rooms and 19 suites. Each room is absolutely stunning with its contemporary decor and resort-style amenities that scream classic Palm Beach. This boutique hotel brings great options to the table with the 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Palm Suite. Not only does this rooftop suite contain a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining area, it also has an 800 square foot private rooftop terrace that has a seating and dining area with coastal views.

Amanda also had a chance to experience the Park Suite. This suite is the largest hotel accommodation in Palm Beach. It is a luxurious 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom rooftop suite that offers view of the Palm Beach sunset with a 1,200 square foot rooftop terrace. This suite also consists of an open plan living area, a dining area for 8 guests indoors and a fully equipped kitchen in the most stunning contemporary styles. Need an option for an even larger group? This suite can also connect with a Deluxe room which brings you to total of 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms for your group. These suites are absolutely perfect for families with children, multigenerational groups, couples, and of course, girls trips!

What she did:

Not only is the While Elephant a place of beautiful and contemporary design, it’s also in such a great location for some prime beach time. The beach is a short stroll from the resort and their team has a courtesy beach van that drops you right at the beach. Their team will have complementary beach chairs, towels umbrellas and even kids toys waiting for you! My personal tip – ride the complementary beach bikes from the hotel to the beach and arrive to the perfect set up by the White Elephant team by the time you reach the beach! After spending time at the beach and in the pool that is located in the courtyard of the hotel, she then took a stroll to dinner. The dining options within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel are truly endless! Don’t feel like walking the 5 minutes to dinner? Take the house car that will drop you off and pick you up! Not only will they take you dinner, but a trip to Worth Avenue for shopping is what they specialize in!

What She Loved:

Many guests of Palm Beach head to the While Elephants signature restaurant, Lola 41, and now we can certainly see why! The brunch and dinner at the restaurant is absolutely delicious and the outdoor ambiance of sitting in the bistro tables, poolside, was the perfect touch. While Amanda was there for a girls trip, the resort makes such personal efforts to make every type of stay special. They offer in room couples massages that would be great for an anniversary or even a little staycation weekend! Amanda was able to see how the team at the White Elephant truly goes above and beyond to curate a personalized stay and make memories to last a lifetime.
