Our Recent Stay: Adare Manor

Jennifer Jacob recently returned from a FAM trip through Crafted Ireland, where she had the opportunity to stay at one of Ireland’s top five-star luxury hotels, Adare Manor. This resort is a neo-gothic masterpiece that has vast history, impeccable service, a world class staff, and a truly spectacular setting. The stunning 840-acre property houses 104 guest rooms, several beautiful gardens, peaceful forests, an outstanding golf course, and so much more!

WHY WE WENT:

Jennifer was in Ireland to connect with Crafted Ireland, through Index Select, in order learn more about the properties in their portfolio and to gain knowledge for our clients who want to visit Ireland. This property is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, has a very high staff retention rate, and excellent reviews of being a 5-star luxury property. Adare Manor is the home of the Ryder Cup in 2027, as they have an exceptional golf course and golf club, making this a great option for our clients who love to golf while traveling.

WHAT WE LOVED:

There are so many things to love about Adare Mandor, but this property is amazing because it is very upscale and yet it doesn’t feel pretentious. When you are inside you feel like you are at home, with the casual hunting flare and cozy decor. Something super special was their incredible attention to detail and the personalization they offer to each guest. Another incredible feature was that the activity options seemed endless. You could golf, do a golf simulator, enjoy the Padel club, relax at the spa, go swimming, enjoy a falconry experience, and so much more.

WHAT WE ATE:

There are 4 restaurants on-site and the food at Adare Manor is absolutely to die for. The Oak Room is a Michelin Star restaurant with meals prepared by chef Michael Tweedie. The other restaurants on the property are: The Carriage House, The Drawing Room, and the Tack Room. The food here is very light and flavorful, you won’t leave feeling heavy or weighed down, which is a big win on vacation. Something unique is the incredible bar under the hotel, with award winning mixologists, where you can have a private whiskey or wine tasting inside the cellar.

HOW WE SLEPT:

The beds at Adare Manor are a complete dream. Jennifer said this was one of the best beds she has ever slept in, and she was in the Classic Room, and that is their entry level room. Imagine sleeping in one of their more luxurious suites. The bathrooms were out of this world and even had heated floors to keep your feet warm.
