The French Riviera (or Côte d’Azur) is located in the Mediterranean coast of Provence, France and is filled with several of the world’s most popular beaches and destinations, including Monaco, Nice, Cannes and Saint Tropez. This is the perfect destination for travelers in search of extraordinary food and wine, mixed with history and culture. Come see the breathtaking vistas, ancient villages and sparkling Mediterranean waters for yourself and you will see why so many celebrities have homes in the French Riviera. If you don’t believe us… just ask Elton John!

Best Time to Visit: June, July, August, and September are a few of the best months to visit the region. July and August are typically the peak months of their tourist season. Tourists crowd the beaches during the summer months, making it difficult for tourists to secure beach beds and dining reservations. Winter is far from beach weather, so we advise sticking to June – September.

Things to Do:

Look at the History of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Roquebrune-Cap-Martin has two “personalities”. Set between Menton and Monaco, the old Roquebrune is a cute medieval hilltop village while Cap Martin is know for its trendy fashion sense.

Gamble at the Casino at Monte-Carlo. Monaco may be a small town, but it is still big in terms of glamor and the stars it brings to the are. The Monte-Carlo Casino is magnificent, known throughout the world, and is a true reflection of luxury and good living.

Visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Sitting at the top of the hills above St Jean Cap Ferrat, the pink-washed, neo-classical façade is most famous for its stunning gardens. Walk amongst endless rows of fragrant flowers, Japanese gardens, and other tropical gardens. All subject to stuning panoramic views over the Mediterranean.

Soak in the Flavors and Scents of the Cours Saleya market in Nice. In the heart of the French Riviera, lies Nice, the capital of the Côte d’Azur. This city is large, lively, and it attracts both locals and visitors. Nice is a foodie town, so we recommend partaking in a food tour that will allow you to experience all of the flavors while you are there!

Have a luxurious stay in St. Tropez. This destination was made famous by Brigitte Bardot, and still sees countless celebrities arriving to stay at one of the fabulous hotels or on one of the multi-million dollar yachts that fill the harbor. This is a glitzy sight that everyone should visit at least once in their life!
