Amanda Favara
Amanda is an adventurous, solo traveler who has made new experiences her priority since graduating university six years ago. She has a bachelors degree in Sustainability and Environmental Conservation and loves to take that expertise into her travel endeavors. She has traveled the United States in her converted van across the country countless times. She has also spent five months living in an Irish estate in County Cork and recently spent the holidays in a 12th-century estate in Scotland. She has traveled through Thailand and Cambodia with volunteer programs, as well as a study abroad in Ecuador and backpacking through Europe. She has worked in hospitality and tourism for many years, and most recently aboard a National Geographic vessel. This has taken her from Southeast Alaska all the way down to Baja California and Latin America. She ended up loving Costa Rica so much that she lived there for a year and a half. She is currently planning an entire summer abroad in Europe and is ready to help you do the same! Her specialty is solo travel, friend trips and couples getaways to anywhere from first time-Europe travelers to off the beaten path explorers looking for something a bit more unique!

"Our trip was absolutely incredible! We really appreciated how smoothly our trip began; upon arriving the pre-arranged transportation was a breeze and everyone we encountered, especially our driver, was so warm and friendly. The resort was an absolute dream--the staff greeted us with smiles and a drink and made sure we had nothing to worry about. They took care of everything without hesitation . Our room was fabulous with with flower petals and a bottle of bubbly were waiting to welcome us to paradise. The trip continued to impress and amaze us--the location and view was surreal, the food and drinks were to die for, and the amenities and the accommodations were top notch. We enjoyed a combination of relaxing on the beach or by the pool, taking advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks, and excursions like scooter snorkeling and a catamaran trip.
